Volunteering is incredibly rewarding and makes a significant difference to the people you support

We will be in touch about further details and how to register to become a volunteer, including how to complete a DBS check, which is free to volunteers.

We are typically in need of volunteers who can:

• Provide transport from Blunham to local towns, such as giving lifts to people to attend medical appointments where your motoring expenses will be paid.

• Visit or call clients regularly (i.e. weekly) for a chat. This is often called befriending.

• Help manage our phone, taking calls from clients and matching volunteers with tasks.

All our volunteers do tasks on an ad hoc basis and when you register you can indicate which kinds of tasks you would be willing to do (e.g. transport, befriending, gardening) and what your availability is, which can be as frequent as suits you.
